About Trev
Hi I’m Trev. I have been entertaining since I was young. Since I was young, I loved entertainment especially holiday parks. Each year we visited one and I loved watching the entertainment and watching the entertainments team. I Started buying cd’s and a few lights which then turned into a bulky setup in my bedroom at my parents’ house.
At the age of 18 my friend Richard loved buying CD’s and I loved buying different light’s so we made a setup and done our first gig for free at Hintlesham community hall. As neither of us could drive we had to have a Roady which was Trev’s cousin Russ and It was a great success.
We started up a partnership called RTTC Discos and since then we went on to do school discos and private events including weddings, private parties but the most popular were the kid’s parties.
Trev soon got known for being the kid’s entertainer due to his interactive dances and basic balloon modelling. We got in to the schools providing their school discos several times a year and getting lots of private gigs from them.
Unfortunately, Richard lost interest in doing the gigs, so we had a to finish the partnership. After this I had heard from the schools and lots of others they missed our discos and others were not the same as they didn’t have the interactive like Trev done.
Technology changed a lot, so Trev decided to start up Lights Alive Discos.
Along with Roady Russ we got back into the schools and yet again were getting busy with events. Down the line Trevor hurt his back and got a slipped disc so unfortunately, we had to give the discos up.

In 2016 equipment got lighter with speakers having amps inside them and music being ran from laptops it was much easier to run. With lighting having LEDs inside them it was a better set up too so Trev started Clarkes Events. To add the extra touch Trev decided to have a TV too with interactive music videos and graphics on screen too. Not only did Trev want to do discos but with his background in events including Carnivals, craft fairs, lighting up and public street fairs we wanted to do more. Since then Trev has won awards including the Babergh community achievement award in 2010. Trev was also a finalist in the stars of Suffolk award.
Trev carries on with mobile discos keeping very busy, he also brought in the Hadleigh community yard sales too. which were non profit yard sales. These became very popular but worked out being high risk due spending money on advertising before getting any money in.
Trev is a popular Dj for all ages and has provided discos for kids, schools, weddings, private events, outside events, garden parties and even wakes.
