Mobile Discos

Clarkes Events can cater all events from Kids parties, birthdays, anniversary’s and weddings to christenings and also wakes we have covered them all.

Each disco is ran sligtly different but the set up is the same with LED lighting, smoke machine and music videos on screen. Each disco takes around an hour to set up and around half and hour to pack away. All my equipment is insured and tested and I hold PL insurance and a DBS too.

Below is a break down of some disco packages.

Kids discos

My kids discos are normally 2 hours long and are a fun filled with music, dancing games and bubbles. DJ Trev takes control of the party from the start with dancing games with prizes and also pass the parcel all included in the price. Depending on numbers DJ Trev will vary the games as some are not possible with large numbers.

If you have under 30 guests he will do balloon hats to start off with for the best dancers followed by some dance competitions. This is normally followed by Trev getting in front and showing the dance moves to some popular party songs. Being an interactive DJ Trev will be out front interacting with dancing or with the bubble machine keeping the dancers happy.

DJ Trev will do games like limbo, pass the parcel and noise games and lots of dances to choose the best dancer. Trev’s prizes are all wrapped and will normally include bubbles, sweets, colouring sheet, temporary tattoo and a toy. We normally provide about 12 prizes for each disco and also a pass the parcel if needed too.

Trev is used to small and larger numbers and is a hit in schools for large numbers

Adult and family parties

Adult and family discos are normally 4 hours long from 7:30pm-11:30pm. Whatever the occasion Trev will make sure he knows your taste of music including any music you don’t want to play (no cheesy music like YMCA) With this I offer “Ask the DJ” this is a QR code which I place on your tables so your guests can send their song request directly to me.

I have a large selection of music and music videos from the 50's to the current day charts. I also have access to a DJ music platform I can access most requests quickly and will play them at the appropriate time. I like to work with my clients to make sure they are happy with the music choices and also noise levels and any timings you may have too.

Ask the DJ is a text request system accessed by QR code. I place these on the tables then your guests scan the code and it sends it directly to my DJ programe.

Weddings

First of all, congratulations on your wedding plans, being married myself I know how stressful this can be with lots of planning. I try to take the stress out for you with a bespoke package just for you. Being a DJ for over 25 years I’ve catered for lots of weddings large, small, inside and outside in marquees. I like to find out what you have planned already ie timings and then ask what you would like?

Some clients have other entertainment planned so the last thing I want to do is interfere with that. With a background in event planning, I can recommend some timings for you and work with you as I can let you use my microphone for speeches so everyone can hear. I can also provide backing music during your wedding breakfast. Music is another important part, like adult and family discos I provide the “Ask the DJ” QR code for requests but also arrange your first dance which I have a low fog machine for to provide a cloud to dance on (see picture of Justeen and Andy)
